Administrative Assistant

KGS Group is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our fast-paced, multi-disciplined engineering firm in Regina, SK. We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.

Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company's general administrative activities. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, high attention to detail, and be familiar with Microsoft Office and Adobe. If you also have previous experience preparing reports and proposals, we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing administrative support for the development of reports, proposals, letters, and presentations. This requires attention to detail in typing, proofing, copying and binding as well as a sense of urgency for time-sensitive documents;
  • Filing reports, letters, etc. using our in house File Management System (FMS);
  • Following all document control standards under our Quality Management System;
  • Receiving and sending out courier packages;
  • Answering and directing phone calls.

Skills and Requirements:

  • High level of accuracy when typing and proofing documents;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • The ability to work well independently, but also to help out other administrative staff when needed;
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task;
  • High attention to detail;
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe, Visio;
  • Previous administrative experience is preferred.
