Kathryn Black promoted to Department Head of our Saskatchewan mechanical team
We are excited to announce that Kathryn Black has been promoted to Department Head of our Saskatchewan mechanical team.
Kathryn is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and has more than 30 years of experience in mechanical engineering. She spent over half of her career as a regulator for pressure equipment, oil and gas facilities and pipelines, is an accredited auditor for quality control and quality management systems and has taught courses at the University of Regina.
Following her successful 30-year career in the private and public sector, Kathryn decided to return to consulting. In April, she joined KGS as a Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in pressure equipment and piping.
In her short time with us, Kathryn has made an immediate impact by applying her diverse technical knowledge on project work, securing new business opportunities and providing strong mentoring for our junior staff. In her own words, Kathryn loves to work with people and that shows through her contagious positivity and pleasant demeanour. She is also a strong advocate for all things safety.
Please join us in congratulating Kathryn!
