Helmut Graumann, B.Sc., P.Eng.

Helmut has over 40 years of experience as a professional engineer, working his entire career in the consulting engineering industry. As a graduate from the University of Manitoba with a degree in Civil Engineering, Helmut specialized in structural engineering and has functioned in a design, design management and project management capacity on industrial, commercial and heavy civil projects ranging in size up to a several billion-dollar construction cost.

As one of the founding Principals of KGS Group, Helmut has led and grown KGS Group’s industrial/general engineering groups since the company’s inception in 1986. Project highlights have included major industrial projects in the ethanol, potash and pulp & paper industries, large civil infrastructure projects in the municipal sector and the design and rehabilitation of hydroelectric facilities for major power utilities. Presently, he continues to function in a responsible role in the senior management of KGS Group and serves on the Board of Directors of the company.
