Helmut Graumann, B.Sc., P.Eng.

Helmut has over 40 years of experience as a professional engineer, working his entire career in the consulting engineering industry. As a graduate from the University of Manitoba with a degree in Civil Engineering, Helmut specialized in structural engineering and has functioned in a design, design management and project management capacity on industrial, commercial and heavy civil projects ranging in size up to a several billion-dollar construction cost.

As one of the founding Principals of KGS Group, Helmut has led and grown KGS Group’s industrial/general engineering groups since the company’s inception in 1986. Project highlights have included major industrial projects in the ethanol, potash and pulp & paper industries, large civil infrastructure projects in the municipal sector and the design and rehabilitation of hydroelectric facilities for major power utilities. Presently, he serves on the Board of Directors of the company and continues to function in a resource role in the senior management of KGS Group as well as major industrial projects.
